LSSM Brighton

Sports centre

We have started this new venue in Brighton because we now have enough highly experienced tutors from our main London Venue living in the area, so we can put together a great team who can deliver the same high quality. Courses will take place in the brand new Pavilion at the University of Brighton Sports Centre, which has good transport connections and free parking.

INTRODUCTION Courses Brighton

These intensive one-weekend workshops teach you to apply all the basic massage techniques safely and effectively to all the main areas of the body. On its own it will enable you to treat friends and family on a recreational level but this is not a professional qualification.

The main ISRM/BTEC diploma course we run is not for complete beginners taking their first slow tentative steps in a new discipline. The introductory workshop not only gives the basic skills needed to start the Diploma course but also gives you the opportunity to discover more about LSSM training and what it is like to be a professional massage therapist before fully committing to it.

Course fee £225 including VAT, handbook and certificate.

Students must be a minimum of 18 years-old.

Immediate payment required by Credit or Debit card or Cheque.

“This week marks the 14th anniversary of gaining my diploma at the LSSM. Mel Cash and his team offer a course with a fantastic set or techniques which enables the students to become excellent therapists. I have worked as a therapist non-stop since graduation in 2005 and so have many more who have trained with LSSM.
I met Mel Cash when I was a dancer in 1987 and he told me that he wanted to start a Massage School but I didn't believe him. Now 30 years later the school has trained thousands of therapists and I recommend the Diploma course unreservedly.” Sophia (53 years old) – Surrey

"I am so glad that I chose the LSSM Diploma Course for my qualification. The course includes a fantastic set of techniques that are excellent building blocks for a successful career. The skills I learned are highly effective and client focussed, I developed hands on skills I don't believe I would have anywhere else. The LSSM Diploma Course is far more than a "massage" course. It is a foundation for a successful career treating musculoskeletal pain and imbalance." Ashley (35 years old) - London

“I feel very lucky to have Alison as our lead tutor. Her knowledge is amazing and she's an excellent teacher. She has a real knack for explaining things in ways we can understand and is clearly invested in us doing well on the course. We're all very fond of her, and in my case, it was knowing that Alison would be the lead tutor which convinced me to do the diploma, after meeting her at the introductory weekend. I wanted to mention another tutor, David Donne. We've been fortunate enough to have him a couple of times now, and we learn so much from him! Saturday flew by as he was so engaging and gave us loads of practical information which has already come in really useful. He's even given the group his contact details in case we have questions about treating clients. I was talking to some of the students from the other Brighton group and they also mentioned how much they enjoy having him as a tutor. I just wanted you to know how impressed we are by such great tutors.” Paul (38 years old) – East Sussex
