LS 32G

Starting June 19 2021

12 weekend workshops over approximately one year (Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm, each about a month apart) combining theory and practical subjects with closely supervised classroom practice.

4 written assignments. These can be done from anywhere using our online system. The average student should allow 2-3 hours a week for home study. Although we make allowances for foreign students and those with learning difficulties all assignments must be completed in written English.

To get a BTEC Level 5 qualification you have to demonstrate a high level of skill and knowledge. The assignments are not a simple exercise to find the answers in a book or online and copy them. You will need to do background reading and explain answers in your own words. This is why we recommend that students allow 2-3 hour a week to be able to do well and get the most out of the course.

100 practice treatments outside the classroom (allow 2 or more hours a week).

You start with friends and family then as your skill, knowledge and confidence grows your client base increases. So by the end of the course you should have the nucleus of clients to start your professional practice with. The average student should allow 2 or more hours a week for home practice.

3 Case Studies to be completed towards the end of the course.

Theory exam and 1 Practical exam.

We do not run short intensive Diploma courses because it must take time to practice and acquire the skills and knowledge needed to become a Soft Tissue Therapist.
