These General Massage Workshops take place with Mel Cash on the first (or second) Thursday of the month at the studio above the LSSM office in Willesden Green, NW London (2 min walk from the tube station), from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

We focusing on basic techniques, good working posture through the efficient use of body-weight and working with safe hand techniques. We also practice treating clients in a variety of side-lying and other positions. Although this is a practical workshop we discuss many clinical and professional issues as well. This often leads to more advanced techniques being introduced as the day goes on.

Being such a small group Mel tries address individual concerns and give a high degree of one-to-one attention during the day.

These workshops are not for beginners but are ideal for massage students (from any school) who already have basic skills. It is also ideal for massage therapists wanting to brush up on their skills, get some fresh ideas or to help find ways to prevent their own overuse problems.
